Next class sessions to start April 29th, 2025

All classes held indoors in the winter and spring at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora on Tuesday evenings. Fall classes are outside under the covered barns.

Classes offered will be Basic Training, Puppy classes, Rally Novice and Intermediate, Agility Foundations, and Intermediate obedience.

Registration will open late April. Registration and payment must be received by prior to classes to secure your spot.

Agility Classes will start on April 30, 2025

Classes are held outdoors on the Animal Control/Humane Society property in Jamestown. A basic obedience class is a prerequisite for agility. It is not required that the class be taken through STKC

Next session for puppy, basic obedience, rally novice and intermediate, CGC obedience, Trick dog classes and Intro to Scent Work will be April 29, 2025 at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds – 220 South Gate Drive, Sonora

Agility – Spring session to start on April 30th, 2025!

CLASS SIZE LIMITED – CLASSES FILL UP FAST –

Registration is taken on a first received basis, due to the high demand for our classes, payment must be made online or mailed in and received by April 25th, before classes start, or your spot will be given to someone else!

ALL CLASSES ARE $130 PER SEVEN WEEK SESSION / Online payments slightly more

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora, with the exception of Agility (which is held adjacent to the Humane Society in Jamestown on Wednesdays).
A Basic Obedience class is a prerequisite for Agility, (class need not be with STKC).

1:00 PM – Rally Excellent
2:00 PM – Rally Novice
3:00 PM – Rally Intermediate / Adv
4:00 PM – Intermediate Obedience/ CGC
4:00 PM – Intro to Competition Obedience/Beg Novice – must have had Basic and Intermediate Obedience Class prior to signing up
5:00 PM – Intro to Nosework – FULL
5:00 PM -Basic Manners / Obedience (6 months +)
6:00 PM – Basic Manners / Obedience (6 months +)
6:00 PM – Puppy Class (up to 6 months)
7:00 PM – Trick Dog Class

The 2025 sessions are as follows:
April 29th – June 10th
August 19th – September 30th
October 14th – November 25th

Agility Classes will start on Wednesday April 30th
Novice Agility (Foundations is a prerequisite) 5:15 – 6:15 PM
Advanced Agility 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Agility Thursday night classes start on May 1st
Agility Foundations 5:15 – 6:15 PM –
Intermediate Agility 6:30 – 7:30PM

Held at the Humane Society in Jamestown

Registration is taken on a first received basis, due to the high demand for our classes, payment must be received before classes start, or your spot will be given to someone else! Rabies records for first time students are mandatory. PUPPY VACCINATION RECORDS ARE MANDATORY ALSO.
