Barktoberfest – October 10th, 11th and 12th, 2025 – THREE DAYS!!!


We will have the 4 – 6 month puppy competition, obedience and rally trials and the National Owner Handled Series. Other offerings include Trick Dog Testing, Canine Good Citizen, AKC Temperament Testing, Pee Wee Special Attraction and more!
Pee Wee Special attraction will be on Saturday, and requires a release form. The forms will be available at the club desk on Friday and Saturday morning!

PLEASE DO NOT BRING ANY DOGS THAT ARE NOT ENTERED IN THE SHOW OR ACTIVITIES.

Spectators are welcome. Come on out and watch YOUR favorite breeds as they compete for the best of their breed and test their skills in the obedience and rally rings. Admission is free, there is a $10 per day parking fee, $15 for two days, and $20 for all three days. Please, do not bring your un-entered dogs to these shows.

Class Schedule

Next session for puppy, basic obedience, rally novice and intermediate, CGC obedience, Trick dog classes and Intro to Scent Work will be August 19, 2025 at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds – 220 South Gate Drive, Sonora
THESE CLASSES WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE IN THE COVERED BARN AREA OF THE FAIRGROUNDS
Note: Not all classes are offered each session

CLASS SIZE LIMITED – CLASSES FILL UP FAST –

 Registration is taken on a first received basis, due to the high demand for our classes, payment must be made online or mailed in and received two weeks, before classes start, or your spot will be given to someone else!

ALL CLASSES ARE $140 PER SEVEN WEEK SESSION / Online payments slightly more

Classes are held on Tuesday evenings at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora, with the exception of Agility (which is held adjacent to the Humane Society in Jamestown on Wednesdays).
A Basic Obedience class is a prerequisite for Agility, (class need not be with STKC).

These classes held at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds:
1:00 PM – Rally Excellent
2:00 PM – Rally Novice
3:00 PM – Rally Intermediate / Adv
4:00 PM – Intermediate Obedience/ CGC
4:00 PM – Intro to Competition Obedience/Beg Novice – must have had Basic and Intermediate Obedience Class prior to signing up
5:00 PM – Intro to Nosework
5:00 PM -Basic Manners / Obedience (6 months +)
6:00 PM – Basic Manners / Obedience (6 months +)
6:00 PM – Puppy Class (up to 6 months)
7:00 PM – Trick Dog Class

The 2025 sessions are as follows:
August 19th – September 30th
October 14th – November 25th

 Agility Classes will start on Wednesday April 30th
Novice Agility (Foundations is a prerequisite) 5:15 – 6:15 PM
Advanced Agility 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Agility Thursday night classes start on May 1st
Agility Foundations 5:15 – 6:15 PM –
Intermediate Agility 6:30 – 7:30PM

Held at the Humane Society in Jamestown

Registration is taken on a first received basis, due to the high demand for our classes, payment must be received before classes start, or your spot will be given to someone else! Rabies records for first time students are mandatory. PUPPY VACCINATION RECORDS ARE MANDATORY ALSO.
