Roll-Over Preparation Instructions

If the Roll-Over is frozen, put it in the refrigerator for approximately 1-1/2 days to thaw.

Once it is completely thawed, you will need to cut it into pieces for bait. Using a large-bladed, sharp knife, cut off the end with the metal clip. There is some Roll-Over in the end, so you can pull that out by hand and put it into your storage bag.

Cut the Roll-Over into ¼" to ½" sized slices. Stack about 4 slices and then cut the slices into about 5 to 7 "julienne" slices. Turn the stack a quarter turn and cut the same number of slices. This gives you about ½" x ½" sized pieces. If your dog is smaller, you may need to cut more strips, making smaller pieces.

Separate the small bite-sized pieces and put into a zip-lock bag, or other container, and place in the freezer. You can cut the whole roll all at once or put the uncut portion into a zip lock bag and put back into the freezer for another day.

When you need some Roll-Over for training or treats, you can pull the zip-lock bag out, take what you need and return the bag back to the freezer.

Roll-Over will stay in your refrigerator for about one week before it starts to spoil. It will stay in the freezer indefinitely!

We have had luck freezing, defrosting and refreezing Roll-Over many times.

Have fun and happy training!
