Oriental Rice Salad

1 1/2 cups brown rice in 3 cups water, salt, simmer 45 minutes, cool.

 

Add to rice-

 

1 cup chopped celery

2 cups chopped broccoli

1 1/2 cups peanuts

1 1/2 Tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

2 finely chopped green onions

Mix together and add to rice and veggies-

3/4 cup vegetable oil, may use a little sesame oil in this

1/2 cup sugar

1 1/2 Tablespoons lite soy sauce

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Salt to taste

 

Mix well
