NADAC/ASCA AGILITY TRIAL COMMITTEE UPDATES:

Trial Chair – Linda

The Trial went smoothly, no problems, good vendors.

Trial Secretary – Lindsay

A few computer and human glitches, but were fixed. Competitors don’t seem to read the conformations, items had to be changed day of the Trial when it could have been handled earlier.

Score Table – Pat

Ran smoothly, the computer program was better this year. Could use 4 or 5 people helping at the score table. Need new racks to put the computers on and shade hoods. Fred volunteered to build them. M/S/P –by Al/Carol

Hospitality – Team Jo-Ann & Carol

Nicest of any Trial we have seen. Great artwork decorations by Jo-Ann’s students. The sandwiches were great, we decided to do Togos again. The helpers in the hospitality were very, very nice. We received $18 in donations. We had too much food, but that is hard to tell in advanced. The extra food was given to a homeless shelter. We received a big "Thank You" from them.

Equipment/Course Builder – Cherie

The new sandbag tunnel holders were the best. Saved us a lot of work. We had the usual breakdowns on our old equipment, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. One of the dogwalks had a vibration.

General Membership Feedback:

We forgot to give Judges Gift, but Linda had given them a shirt and medallion.

We need to put on a training session for members on how the jobs are done. We will have a mock trial at a Fun Run before the September Trial.

We need to look into a new site.

We need a new date so that we can get ASCA sanctioning from PASA. They have a show in conflict on this date.
